Golf icon Tiger Woods and his ex-wife, former model Elin Nordegren, posed together again on Friday — this time to celebrate a major milestone for their son.
According to Page Six, Woods, 50, and Nordegren, 46, were all smiles at The Benjamin School in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, as Charlie Woods, 17, officially signed his commitment to play college golf for Florida State University. The former couple — who finalized their divorce in 2010 after a high-profile split — stood on either side of Charlie in Florida State gear for a family photo that quickly made the rounds.
Nordegren’s boyfriend, former NFL player Jordan Cameron, also joined the celebration, along with Woods and Nordegren’s other children, who wore Seminoles merchandise as well.
Charlie had verbally committed to Florida State back in February, writing at the time that he was “excited to announce my commitment to play golf at Florida State University — go Noles!“ Woods publicly cheered him on then, commenting that he was “so proud“ of Charlie entering the next chapter. Friday’s ceremony made that decision official on national signing day.
The appearance is another example of Woods and Nordegren putting their children’s achievements first years after their divorce. Page Six notes they have reunited for family moments before, including Charlie’s championship ring ceremony earlier this year after The Benjamin School’s boys’ golf team won a Florida state title, and at the PNC Championship in Orlando.
For fans who still remember the couple’s very public breakup nearly two decades ago, the latest photos are a reminder that co-parenting can look a lot quieter — and warmer — than the headlines once suggested.
