Strictly Come Dancing professional Neil Jones has given fans a clue about when his growing family will get bigger, days after he and wife Chyna Mills shared their baby news.
“Almost halfway through already”
The couple announced on Monday, November 2, that they are expecting their second child together. They did it with a black-and-white video posted to Chyna’s Instagram, with nothing but a white heart emoji as the caption. In the clip, filmed in an open field, the family of three are dressed in white. Neil leans down to kiss Chyna’s bump, and the pair swing their three-year-old daughter Havana between them.
On Tuesday evening, Neil, 44, posted a follow-up thanking well-wishers and dropping a hint about the timeline.
“Thank you so much for all your lovely messages,” he wrote. “I can’t believe we’re almost halfway through already!”
He added that the family had loved “enjoying this chapter, just the three of us,” and that seeing how excited Havana is to become a big sister made the news “even more special.”
If Chyna, 27, is nearly halfway through her pregnancy, the new baby is likely to arrive around April 2027.
Showered with love from Strictly and Love Island stars
The announcement drew a flood of congratulations from both shows the couple are known for. Fellow Strictly professionals, including Dianne Buswell, Nancy Xu, Carlos Gu and Gorka Marquez, left messages under the post, and judge Motsi Mabuse joked that it was “definitely my auntie year.” Former pro Oti Mabuse also teased Neil and Chyna for keeping her in the dark, writing that they owed her “one massive call.”
Love Island alumni joined in too. Paige Thorne called it “the bestest news.”
From Love Island to a summer wedding
Chyna came to fame on the 2022 series of Love Island, and she and Neil were first linked later that year. They got engaged during a trip to Bali in 2023 and announced their first pregnancy at the same time. Havana was born in October 2023.
The couple married in July 2026, with a ceremony at Old Marylebone Town Hall in London followed by a second, more private celebration in Florence.
A family rift in the background
The happy news comes while Neil’s relationship with some of his relatives remains strained. Chyna has previously alleged that she was mistreated by Neil’s mother, Helen, and said some of his family did not attend Havana’s baptism. Neil’s sister, Terri Peters, has disputed Chyna’s account.
For now, Neil and Chyna seem to be enjoying the moment. With a spring arrival on the way, Havana won’t have long to wait before she becomes a big sister.
