Brooklyn Beckham seems to have found a way to change the conversation on his Instagram, with help from a towel and a swimming pool.
A black-and-white poolside moment
The eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, 27, posted a black-and-white photo of himself standing by the pool at the Los Angeles home he shares with wife Nicola Peltz Beckham. Shot from behind, the moody picture shows Brooklyn in just a towel, gazing out across the property’s grounds.
The post went up on Tuesday, November 3, and many fans read it as an attempt to move attention away from the reaction to his Halloween pictures earlier in the week.
The Halloween snaps that got fans talking
Days earlier, Brooklyn shared a set of photos from a star-studded Halloween party in LA. He dressed as Superman and Nicola, 31, went as Catwoman. They were joined by their friend Damian Hurley, 24, the actor son of Elizabeth Hurley, who wore an all-black leather look.
One image showed Damian with his arm around Nicola, and it quickly filled up with jokey and critical comments. Some followers picked apart the trio’s body language, and others teased that Superman looked like he was “third wheeling.” According to The Sun, Brooklyn removed that photo from his grid within hours, which only got fans talking more.
Used to the spotlight
Brooklyn and Nicola have been one of the most-watched celebrity couples since they married in 2022, and their social media posts regularly make headlines. Both are very active on Instagram, where Brooklyn shares his cooking projects, his business ventures and loved-up moments with his wife.
Letting the picture do the talking
Brooklyn hasn’t addressed the Halloween comments directly. His relaxed poolside post suggests he is happy to let his feed speak for him and leave the online chatter behind.
