Angry Ginge is going solo. The streamer and former I’m A Celebrity winner has announced that he is leaving the Bov Boys, the content creator collective he has been part of since it formed, and fans are not taking the news well.

The group launched in July 2025 and, alongside Ginge, includes Tays, Heinz Baines, NYKChazza and Jakey Davies. According to The Sun, Ginge, 24, broke the news in a post on the Bov Boys’ Instagram account.

“Well hello there. I know this isn’t the news you were expecting, however, it’s the news that is here,” he wrote. Before explaining his decision, he made a point of thanking fans: “Thank you for all the love for the BOV Boys these last 12–18 months. Without you, the memories, support and love wouldn’t have been the same.”

Ginge described the other members as his “brothers for life” and made it clear there was no falling out. “But in life, you never know where your story ends, and for me and BOV, the story ends here,” he said. “It’s been an amazing time, with memories I will take to my grave, from Benidorm to our first ever recording in London. Although this is the END for me and BOV, the love and the friendships go on!”

He admitted that walking away had not “been an easy decision,” but said “the boys will smash it without me.” He also confirmed he will still pop up with the group on live streams, and signed off with a reassuring message: “Thank you for everything, but remember, this isn’t goodbye, it’s a see you later!”

Fans flooded the comments with emotional reactions. One wrote, “Not going to be the same without you!!” Another said, “I’m sobbing, good luck Ginge.” Others were still in denial, with one follower pleading, “This better be some joke.”

The timing has fueled speculation about what Ginge has planned next. His exit comes shortly after fans became convinced that he and his former I’m A Celebrity campmate Lisa Riley had landed a new gig together, after both posted cryptic teases on social media. The Emmerdale star, known for playing Mandy Dingle, hinted that something “massive” was on the way. Neither has confirmed what the project is.

The Bov Boys have kept busy in recent months. Before this year’s Big Brother, the group spent a weekend on a 24-hour live stream inside the famous house, and Michael “Tays” Taylor stayed on for an extra week as a “mole.”

Ginge’s departure was something his friends had joked about before. Last year, when he was in the jungle, Good Morning Britain’s Ed Balls asked Tays and Jakey whether Ginge would still be a Bov Boy if he won, or whether he might move on to bigger things. Ginge did go on to win I’m A Celebrity — and now, it seems, that bigger chapter is here.

For his millions of followers, the message is clear: the friendships stay, the streams continue, and whatever Ginge is building next, he is doing it under his own name.
